Accelerant Additive

The accelerant additive may be added to the ORMPH or the Mining Putty at the rate of 2-5 drops per pint of mixed product. The number of drops is measured by the number of drops off of a 3/8” to 7/16” wide flat blade screwdriver that has been dipped into the bottle of accelerant. This will speed up the product cure from mix up to tack free and Sandable to about 30 minutes. To adjust this time, add or subtract drops of the accelerant.

ORPR511 is the recommended primer for concrete, wood and metal substrates


Surface Preparation: General: Surface must be properly prepared prior to application. This could entail shot blasting or grin ding, scrubbing, high pressure detergent washing, steam cleaning or solvent wiping of the surface to remove dirt, oil, grease pollutants and other contaminan ts. Allow the surface to thoroughly dry. Once dry, remove loose or excess mortar or other material that may work to impair adhesi on.

Materials needed to mix: 2 ½ gal or 5 gallon pail, electric drill and spiral mixer.


Pour part “A” into a clean pail
Pour part “B” into the same pail with the part “A”
Mix thoroughly
Very important-Mix “B” into “A” in small quantities slowly. Product has an approximate ½ hour working time.

Application: Material can be applied by brush, roller, squeegee or low pressure spray equipment. Ensure product is applied in an even and uniform manner, making sure recesses and edges are thoroughly coated.

Handling and storage: The reaction of isocyanates Part A with water leads to the formation of insoluble ureas and carbon dioxide gas, which gas become contaminated with moisture should not be subsequently sealed; otherwise a hazardous increase in pressure may result.

ORBL-BM/C: Resistant to short-term exposure to low temperatures. However, low temperatures will result in increased viscosity, which makes handling more difficult. It is not advisable to store ORBL-BM for long periods below 32˚F (0˚C). The recommended storage temperature for Bedliner Batch Mix is 60˚-95²F. A small amount of insoluble solids in the A-side liquid product does not usually cause difficulties in handling or product performance. However, if necessay6r, the liquid product may be filtered through a suitable in-line filter.
